How we started
Rocket Remit (previously mHITs Remit) is a service of mHITs Limited, a multi-award winning Australian financial technology business. We focus on mobile payment and billing services in emerging markets and have pioneered many new mobile payment services and concepts around the world.
The company was founded in 2004 and have built and operated many mobile payment services in Australia and overseas. We built and operate Australia’s first mobile money service and remain the only carrier independent mobile money service in the Asia-Pacific region.
More recently we rebranded our mHITs Remit Australia mobile money service to Rocket Remit to reflect our current focus and commitment to international mobile money transfer.
The Rocket Remit team are brilliant at what we do. We are leaders in our field and we have the awards and customer feedback to prove it!
